What is CSL Black ?

Crystal Serum Light is an excellent, stand-alone coating offering unparalleled gloss and gloss retention through its superb resistance to wash swirls. However, its water repellency falls short of what EXO has to offer. Therefore, if you want the best for your car, remarkable swirl resistance and water repellency, then this service certainly is for you.

CSL Black is the application of both Crystal Serum Light and EXO.

Application Process

The steps for this service include (and as you can see, preparation is everything):

• High pressure pre-rinse
  
• W4 Citrus Foam used through a snow foam lance
  
• After dwelling for a few minutes, rinse
• Wash with G-Wash and rinse
  
• W5 Citrus Wash applied to the lower parts of the car and sills
• After dwelling for a few minutes, rinse
• W6 Iron & General Fallout Remover applied to whole vehicle including wheels
• After dwelling for a few minutes, rinse
• W7 Tar and Glue Remover applied if necessary (those areas washed with G-Wash and rinsed)
• Vehicle clayed to remove any embedded contaminants
• PW Panel Wipe over entire vehicle to remove any residue
• Application of CSL Crystal Serum Light to paintwork
• Application of 1st coat of EXOv5 Ultra Durable Coating to paintwork
• Application of 2nd coat of EXOv5 Ultra Durable Coating to paintwork
• All exterior glass cleaned with G4 Glass Nano Polish
  
• Application of G1 ClearVision Smart Glass to all exterior glass
• Application of C4 Trim Restorer to all exterior plastic trim
• Application of C5 Wheel Armour to wheel faces
• Tyres dressed with T1 Tyre and Trim
• Interior carpet and fabric are vacuumed
• Leather, plastics and vinyl are cleaned with I2 Tri-Clean
• Carpets and fabric are protected with I1 Smart Fabric Antibacterial
• Leather and vinyl is protected with L1 Leather Guard Antibacterial
• Plastic surfaces are protected with C6 Matte Dash Antibacterial
• Car Care Kit 1 - Starter presented to owner

Why Invisi-Guard uses Gtechniq coatings for Paint Protection

A ceramic coating is a mixture of nanostructured silanes and siloxanes that when hand-applied, chemically bond to the paint or glass. Ceramic coatings protect the surface from chemical and UV degradation as well as offering a level of scratch resistance. Gtechniq have a range of chemically bonding coatings that are quartz-based through to composite coatings, each offering varying levels of protection and durability. 

Crystal Serum Light

When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls, contaminant and dirt repellency, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light is the pinnacle in paint protection. Serum Light forms an ultra-durable, high-gloss, slick to the touch, chemically bonding inorganic layer of 9h optically clear ceramic.

Once applied, gloss levels will remain in the upper 90th percentile for significantly longer when compared to traditional paint protection products, and cleaning your car will be a breeze. The high-density ceramic layer is resistant to chemicals ranging from pH2 – pH12.  This characteristic also makes bonded contaminants such as tree sap, tar, and hard water spots, easy to remove.

Unlike mainstream wax and organic polymer coatings, Serum Light can resist much higher and lower temperatures.  It resists temperatures as low as -40°c to as high as +250°c.
